Hunter Hillin of Counsel,

Hunter Hillin is a seasoned veteran of litigation. He started his career in 1986 as a prosecutor in Dallas, where he quickly amassed substantial trial experience in criminal matters. He then went on to serve as legal counsel to the D/FW Board, adding experience in almost every area of local government, employment and general business practice. For the last twenty years and counting, Hunter has represented a diverse range of clients in civil litigation, including medical malpractice, products liability, pharmaceuticals, real estate, business transactions, and employment disputes. He has represented numerous physicians and patients, a major health care system in Texas, and private businesses. He has successfully prosecuted and defended claims involving many millions of dollars in judgments and settlements with industry giants such as Toyota, Uniroyal, Eli Lilly, American Home Products, Texas Health Resources, Christus Spohn Health System, and Baylor Health Care System, to name a few. He has also represented a putative class of U.S. merchants in an antitrust case against a major credit card network.
Hunter is an invited lecturer for the pre-law/pre-med programs at the University of Texas at Dallas, and has lectured at CLE events across the State of Texas.
Mark Mueller and Hunter originally met while representing opposing parties. Their complimentary skills and easy rapport soon made it apparent to them that it would be highly advantageous and a lot more fun to work together on the same side. In 2008, in a case rejected by other lawyers, Hunter conducted Jury Selection, Mark gave Closing Argument, they divided witnesses between them and together they obtained the largest malpractice verdict in Cincinnati history. Hunter now serves as of counsel to Mueller Law when not engaged in one of his cases in his own private practice.
When he is not at work, you can usually find him working on other challenging projects, like the custom chopper he built from scratch in his garage, or spending time with his wife of 15 years, or with his four children.
