Justin Ryan Vatter 

Justin was raised in Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1998.  In 2003 he graduated from Texas State University with a BA in Political Science.  He was a member of Kappa Alpha Order and the Interfraternity Counsel Judicial Board.  In 2010 he completed a Masters Degree in Legal Studies from Texas State University with a concentration in Alternative Dispute Resolution.  He has also completed 40-hourMediation Training.  His thesis “Federal Preemption in Pharmaceutical Litigation” was published in the National Association of Legal Assistants’ (NALA) periodical Facts & Findings.  Most recently, he obtained NALA certified paralegal certification and an advanced certification in ADR. 
 
Justin currently volunteers for the nonprofit organizations, International Help Now and Shelters International Disaster Response, which provide services and supplies to the people of Haiti in their continued struggle to maintain stability.  Justin and his wife Catherine helped to incorporate these nonprofit organizations in Texas and recently organized an auction in Austin of original paintings of Haitian artists.  Justin is also a registered Paralegal Mentor with U.S. Legal Paralegals, a company which provides assistance to Paralegals who are recent graduates and/or are new to their prospective legal fields.
 
Justin and his wife love any activity that includes their golden retriever Walker.  He is an avid Texas Longhorn and Dallas Cowboys fan.  Justin spends much of his free time outdoors including boating on Lake Travis, tubing the Guadalupe River, camping and playing tennis.
