Laura Gunn

Laura Gunn joined Mueller Law as a Legal Assistant in August 2011.  New to the field, she has enjoyed embarking on a new career path and gaining knowledge of the legal system while helping people deal with the ramifications of surgical mesh.  Born and raised in La Grange, Texas, a down-to-earth hard-working mentality was instilled in her by her entrepreneurial parents.  After relocating to Austin for college, she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Corporate Communication with a concentration in Sociology from the University of Texas.

After college, Laura worked in real estate briefly for a property preservation company, and then decided to advance to a career where she could interact more directly with people.  She accepted a position in hospitality, coordinating events and implementing training procedures.   This was an exciting and meaningful experience for her, as she gained a better understanding for people’s desires and expectations while working to create memorable events for them.  She treasures both the personal and professional relationships and contacts gained during that time.

Laura’s previous professional experience lends well to her position at Mueller Law as a client advocate for women suffering from the complications of implanted transvaginal surgical mesh. Adept at interpersonal relationships, she effectively and simultaneously comforts clients while helping them understand the legal process of this mass tort suit. Her connection to the work is obvious.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys attending UT football games, spending time with family and friends, baking, travel, and playing with her two Cocker Spaniel rescue pups, Odie and Adele.
