Mandeep received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. She began working in Labor and Delivery at the St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas while further pursuing her graduate education. In addition to keeping her fulltime job and attending school fulltime, Mandeep also began part-time work as a corporate nurse intern. As she progressed further into her graduate education, Mandeep began taking on more academic roles and became a teaching assistant for undergraduate nurses at UT. She is now ‘all-but-dissertation’ as a doctoral candidate at UT.

Mandeep has always had an interest in law. She has had the opportunity to participate in 2 summer courses with the National Institutes of Health in Washington, D.C. These courses had a strong focus on legislation and policy around genetics and genomics issues. Having recently taken her LSAT, Mandeep hopes to apply for law school in the near future. At Mueller Law, Mandeep works to advocate for women’s health rights related to the use of transvaginal mesh.

When fun is on the agenda, Mandeep enjoys playing with her dog Charlie, a wire-haired terrier and schnauzer cross, practice and perform the Sikh martial art of Gatka, and spend time with family and friends.
