Michael Jurgens

Michael was born and raised in Florida. In 2006, he graduated with a B.A. from Rollins College where he majored in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2009 from Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando, FL. He graduated in 2011 from Golden Gate University School of Law with an LL.M. in Environmental Legal Studies. While in California, Michael interned at the Environmental Law and Justice Clinic where he participated in the California PUC proceedings to ensure that renewable energy resources were integrated into the power grid in a timely manner to reduce California’s heavy reliance on high pollutant fossil fuel power plants.
Michael’s legal journey has led him to Texas where he joined Mueller Law as a law clerk working with their litigation team while preparing to take the Texas Bar. His professional interests include Environmental law and policy, medical ethics and product liability.
Aside from the law, Michael is an avid runner and weight lifter. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing and watching sports, as well as, hanging with his rescue pitbull, Layla.
